This policy explains what personal data we collect when you buy a ticket, register or use Paris Creator Week's services, why we process it, who we share it with, and what your rights are. We are committed to handling your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable French data protection law.

1. Data controller

2. Data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

Registration and ticketing data: first name, last name, email address, phone number, company, job title, pass type and, where relevant, your creator name and the link to your main account.
Payment data: the amount paid and your order history. Your card details are never processed or stored by us; they are entered directly with our payment provider (see section 4).
Participation data: your profile on the event app (bio, interests, availability) and the connections you make there, if you choose to use it.
Partner data: if you represent a partner brand, the information you enter in your partner space (logos, description, guest list, speakers).
Browsing data: data strictly necessary for the website to function and to secure payments (see section 8).

4. Recipients and processors

We never sell your data. We use service providers (processors under the GDPR) that handle certain data on our behalf, solely for the purposes above and under contract:

Stripe - payment processing (United States)
Brevo - sending confirmation and information emails (France)
Brella - the event networking application (Finland, European Union)
HubSpot - customer relationship and contact management (United States)
OVHcloud - website and data hosting (France)

Your data may also be disclosed to administrative or judicial authorities where required by law.

5. Transfers outside the European Union

Some of our providers (Stripe, HubSpot) are established in the United States. Where your data is transferred outside the European Union, such transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards: the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Retention

We keep your data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, then we delete or anonymise it.

Billing data: kept for 10 years, in line with accounting and tax obligations.
Registration and participation data: kept for the duration of our relationship, then for up to 5 years after your last contact with us.
Prospecting data: kept for up to 5 years after your last contact with us, unless you object.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights over your data:

the right to access and obtain a copy of your data;
the right to rectify inaccurate data;
the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten");
the right to restrict processing;
the right to object, in particular to prospecting;
the right to data portability.

You can exercise these rights at any time by writing to contact@pariscreatorweek.com. We respond within one month. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL), www.cnil.fr.

8. Cookies

The website only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function and to secure the payment flow, in particular those set by our payment provider during a ticket purchase. These cookies are not used to track you for advertising purposes. You can set your browser to block them, but some features, including payment, may then stop working.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Any change will be published on this page, with the date at the top of the document updated accordingly.
